How to Get Ink Off Walls

When ink gets on walls, it can be an unsightly mess and difficult to clean. If you get ink on your walls, first check the packaging for the particular pen and see if the manufacturer offers any cleaning suggestions. Otherwise, there are a few general methods you can try that are sure to get the job done.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Hairspray
  • WD-40
  • Soft cloth
  1. Step 1

    Spray a soft cloth with hairspray so that the cloth is wet but not dripping.

  2. Step 2

    Gently rub the stain on your wall with the cloth.

  3. Step 3

    Once the stain is removed, wipe the wall area down with a cloth wet with water to clean off residual hairspray.

  4. Step 4

    Repeat process with WD-40 for stubborn stains that do not respond to hairspray.
