Warts can appear on any part of your body. They are fairly harmless, but some warts do cause a little pain and are not appealing to look at, which is why many individuals seek medical treatment to get rid of them. If you have a wart and don't mind taking a little longer to get rid of it, consider using duct tape. The duct tape method can be done in the privacy of your own home, is easy and is painfree.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Cut a piece of duct tape slightly bigger than the wart on your hand.

  2. Step 2

Place the piece of duct tape over the wart. Let it remain there for 6 days without removing it.

  3. Step 3

Remove the duct tape on day 6, and soak the wart in water for 15 minutes.

  4. Step 4

Use a file to file down some of the wart. Let the wart air out overnight.

  5. Step 5

Repeat the process by placing another piece of duct tape over the wart for 6 more days. Soak the wart again, and then file it down. Keep doing this for 1 to 2 months until the entire wart is gone.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use a metric ruler to measure the size of the wart. Record the size each 6-day period so that you can see the progress in the shrinking of the wart.
  • It may be embarrassing when people ask you why you have duct tape on your hand, but this method is highly effective and the least costly.
