If you are a man or if you live with a man, than you are no stranger to cleaning urine from your bathroom floor. Although a tiled floor is much easier to clean than carpet, prolonged exposure to urine can cause odors to arise and create stains that are a bit more stubborn. Fortunately, there is a surefire method to ridding your tile of bad smells and blemishes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Fill the bucket half full of white vinegar, and then fill the remainder with water. Mix the two liquids together.

  2. Step 2

Mop the floor with this mixture. The vinegar will help neutralize the urine, eliminating much of the smell.

  3. Step 3

Dry the floor using the rags.

  4. Step 4

Spray the enzymatic cleaner across the tile, concentrating on any problem areas. Allow the cleaner to sit for a few minutes, or for as long as the bottle recommends.

  5. Step 5

    Mop the floor with water.

  6. Step 6

Dry the floor once again with rags.

Tips & Warnings
  • Enzymatic cleaners can be found at pet stores, grocery stores and many hardware stores.
  • When using cleaning chemicals, always protect your skin with gloves and avoid contact with the eyes.
