T-shirt logo designs are unique concepts that begin as a mere thoughts and are brought to life through a simple transfer process. T-shirt logo designs are usually created in a digital graphic design application and then printed onto heat-transfer paper that enables you to press-iron the design onto the shirt. T-shirt logo designs can be created by anyone, whether design beginners or skilled graphic designers. Online design platforms and tools have been implemented so even the most inexperienced designer can create high quality T-shirt logo designs.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to an online T-shirt logo design site. (See resources for sites.)

  2. Step 2

Click on the tab link that redirects you to the online T-shirt logo design platform or enables you to begin designing your T-shirt.

  3. Step 3

Select the type of T-shirt material you want to apply your T-shirt logo to. A display of thumbnail images will be provided for the material selection. Double-click on the T-shirt of your choice to begin designing the logo.

  4. Step 4

Start your T-shirt design with an image that represents your logo. Scroll through the list of premade images and choose the one that best fits the idea or industry for your logo.

  5. Step 5

Add the wording and text for your T-shirt logo. Type the text you want to implement for your logo, and select the type of font you want to use for the text. Once you have made a decision click "OK" or "Apply" to lock the text in with the image for the T-shirt logo.

Tips & Warnings
  • Consider browsing through other design resources to jump-start your own creativity. There are several online websites available for logo creation and design tutorials to help you get started.
  • The image you choose for your logo should be an abstract representation or a symbol-based icon. Abstract art and symbol-based icons are eye-catching and fairly easy to apply to T-shirts and other apparel.
  • Make sure you choose your T-shirt material selection wisely. Most T-shirt design platforms prompt you to make this selection first because it plays a major part in how the logo design will look once it is heat-transferred to the shirt. The wrong material could alter the appearance of the logo because some colors are not compatible to certain materials.
