First you need to do your research and find an Regionally accredited college. The accredidation level of your online college is VERY important. Try to avoid nationally accredited online colleges because these degrees are generally not accepted everywhere. However, if you can find a school with regional accredidation, you can rest assured that these diplomas will be accepted just like any other brick and mortar type of university and college.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure you are attending a regionally accredited school and not a nationally accredited school, unless you already know your employer or future employer will accept a degree from a nationally accredited school.
Read up on the school's background information. Ask around. Don't fall for online college scams.
Stay far away from any college that promises to give you a degree for a one time large payment. These degrees aren't worth the paper they are printed on.
