How to Make Colorful Christmas Bulbs

What ever color your Christmas tree is this Crafty idea is a wonder on any tree. You can make these to match your tree decorations or make them as gifts. This is so easy that your children can even do this. I love to do a different color every year and adding it to my tree. It is such a fun family tradition!

Instructions

1. To start you will need clear glass Christmas bulbs, different color acrylic paints, and ribbon. (you can find clear glass bulbs at any store that sells christmas decorations.)

2. Pop the top off of your bulb and squirt what ever colors you would like to use. It is better to use either two or three colors. Put the top back onto the bulb and shake. This will make a tie dye effect inside the bulb. (Do not add to much paint, or to little. You want the paint to cover the bulb but not be to much.)

3. Set the bulb back into the packaging and let it dry for at least an hour.

4. Take a piece of ribbon and tie it on the top of the bulb.
