If you want to be a stay at home mom and still bring in extra money to help support your family, or you just would like to make some extra spending cash, there are plenty of ways it can be done.

1. Do your research. There are plenty of ways to make money at home, but you need to look at what options are out there that align with your skills and resources. Research carefully any type of opportunity you come across, there are a lot of “work from home” scams out there.

2. Choose a type of work that’s right for you and your situation. Maybe that’s writing for magazines or online websites, babysitting, selling products from home, or some other way you come up with to make extra money from home.

3. Find extra time to work. It might seem hard to take care of the kids, get your household work and errands done, and then try to find time to make extra money. Find time after the kids go to bed, during naps, or while the kids are busy eating or are otherwise occupied.
