I know the old saying "women are complicated". Lol, well men are really more complicated than they appear to be. They make themselves out to be so passive and simple. I think it's hilarious. You guys are probably more complicated than us women are.

However this article is going to shine a little light on how you can understand a woman's needs better. We have needs too.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First of all women love to be heard and we love to talk, especially to the man that we love. We love to express how we feel openly because there is a need for us to be understood, even when we are wrong.

Yes, and woman want the man in their life to correct them as well. This is attractive because it shows us that our man wants to take his God given role in the relationship. Oh and guys there is a difference in correcting with love and being controlling.

Please understand that a woman will talk to someone else if she can't talk to the man she loves. She will find someone to confide in because she needs this in her life. That doesn't mean that she wants to be mean or hateful. It is something that she naturally needs and if her man isn't talking to her she will find someone who will. This many include a best friend or her parents.

  2. Step 2

A woman needs to be loved. You need to be respected and honored, right? It goes hand in hand with a woman needing love and comfort. She needs to feel that you love her. She needs the man in her life to comfort her and tell her that everything will be alright. You may think that it is silly or childish.

Compare it like this: a child needs his mother to nurture and love him, just like a father needs his daughter to respect him and honor his authority. Same thing guys :)

  3. Step 3

She needs your attention. A woman needs you to devote time to her exclusively. She wants you to focus on her and not other things in your life. You would be amazed at how she can make you feel if you just spend time with her by taking interest in her latest project. How about helping her with chores or even getting into a show that she likes to watch.

Who knows the chores can lead to something romantic or that show can lead to a baseball game. You never know, but remember not to expect it, because when you don't expect something the grand prize will always be so much sweeter. :)

Tips & Warnings
  • Just relax and when you do things with love, she will know.
  • Love what she loves, it works both ways guys :)
  • No communication is so hard and remember that she is talking to someone, if it isn't you. (Not necessarily a guy either, so don't think that)But rest assured that someone knows a lot more about her feelings than you do when you never talk. I don't know about most people, but I would want to know how my man was feeling, always.

on 11/16/2009 Great article. It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult, but many men don't "get" this. 5* and recommend.

on 11/14/2009 Talk is hard for us guys and sometimes it gets hard to read what women want to talk about. Making small talk, trying to be a better listener and responding with something other than a "huh" helps. Great article and great tips. Thanks for sharing.
