The standard Joomla article editor does not allow you to wrap words around images. Follow the steps below for getting your Joomla website to float text around images.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Download the JCE link below in the resources section. The file will be named com_jce_157_154_package.zip for Joomla 1.5. Make sure to keep it as a zip file and do NOT extract.

  2. Step 2

From your Joomla administration panel, click on "extensions", then "install/unistall". Under the title "upload package file", select your JCE file using the "browse" button and click "upload file & install".

  3. Step 3

Go to "site" then "control panel". Select "global configuration" and make sure you are on the "site" tab. There will be a setting named "Default WYSIWYG Editor". Change that setting to "Editor-JCE 154".

  4. Step 4

Go to the article you want to float text. You should now have a completely new and much larger editing toolbar from which you can edit your Joomla article whichever way you want.
