How to Make Coffee Jelly

Coffee jelly is a recipe for true coffee lovers and those who aren't afraid to step out of the box and try something new. This is not for the lightweight coffee drinkers. This recipe will give you a very unsuspecting jolt. Serve it in a small glass because much isn't needed. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups of coffee, brewed to your desired strength

Instructions

      Mix the gelatin with cold water and let sit for about five minutes.

      Stir the sugar and salt into the hot coffee until the sugar dissolves. Add the gelatin and mix until the gelatin is dissolved.

      Pour into small bowls or coffee cups and cover with saran wrap for several hours or until it sets.

Tips & Warnings

  • Top with whipped cream topping, if desired. You can also sprinkle with cinnamon or drizzle with caramel sauce. Also sprinkle with nuts.
