    Host an open house. Small business promotion involves letting potential customers know what your services can do for them. Hold an open house for the public in order to spread the word of your business through the community.

  3. Step 3

    Develop accessories (hats, keychains, t-shirts) with your business logo and hand them out generously. Think of it as free advertising.

    Give to a charity in the name of your small business. Again, this will create a positive association among possible consumers as well as get your business name out there.

    Offer a great discount or savings to the general public-especially first time customers. This is a good way to get people in the door that might not otherwise have patronized you.
