Do you like to have flavorful chicken as much as I do that is quick and easy to prepare? Have you ever wondered what is the right ingredients to have the perfect Romano seasoning for a marinade? Well, do I have the solution for you! Cooking does not have to be difficult when you try this simple but effective recipe! Just a little know how and a small amount of time makes your plain bland chicken into a delicious meal for your whole family.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 package of large leg quarters
  • Romano dressing seasoning mix
  • Oil
  • Vinegar
  • Mason jar
  • Large baking dish
  1. Step 1

Defrost all chicken pieces so that the pieces are ready to except the marinade. Some people like to take off the skin of the chicken but I prefer to keep the skin on so that the chicken doesn't dry out.

  2. Step 2

Turn all of the chicken pieces skin side down in the cooking pan. Sprinkle half of one Romano seasoning packet onto the chicken. Use the rest of the seasoning packet like it was a dressing by mixing it with oil and vinegar. Since this is not a precise measurement, I eyeball the amounts of vinegar to oil ratio. As a general note of reference, I use less vinegar to oil in the mixture.

  3. Step 3

Cover and refrigerate the chicken overnight so that the chicken has a chance to soak up the seasoning into the flesh of the bird.

  4. Step 4

Before baking, try sprinkling shredded Romano cheese on the chicken first for a crispy coating. By next morning you will be able to cook the chicken how ever you like to and enjoy! Try mixing a salt and pepper flour mixture to coat the chicken and then bake at 400 degrees for one hour in the oven.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try using another packet to season your mashed potatoes for your starch component. Romano dressing packets can be used in making Romano spiced butter for great garlic bread!
