How to Make Wallpapers Online Free

Wallpaper decorates your screen by putting up an attractive picture on your desktop background that doesn't clash with icons or their labels. Most computer manufacturers use that space to advertise their product or throw up a generic landscape. You are not condemned to view these images forever because you can easily create your own wallpaper, which highlight your interests, passions and hobbies.

Instructions

1. Turn any Internet image into wallpaper by right-clicking on it and choosing "Set As Desktop Background" from the pop-up menu. The image appears in the middle of your desktop.

2. Browse a site like WallpaperMaker.net, which lets you create your own wallpapers online. Click "OK, Lets Try It."

3. Enter your desired wallpaper screen size in the "Resolution" boxes on the bottom left.

4. Click the upper arrows on the right until "Backgrounds" appear between them. A palette of backgrounds appears underneath. You can scroll through the different pages by clicking "Next" or "Back" below the palette. Click an image to display it on the left. If you make a mistake, click the "Undo" tab.

5. Click the upper arrows until the "Main Pictures" palette appears. Either page through your options or click on an image, which appears as a cutout on the left display. Click the cutout and scale it by moving the "Resize" slider below. Then move the cutout as needed by clicking on it and holding the left mouse key down as you drag it to a new location. You can add as many main pictures as you want. To delete a picture, select it and click the "Delete" tab.

6. Click the upper arrows until the "Accessories" palette appears. Choose, place and process accessories as you did with the main pictures.

7. Click "Build My Wallpaper" when you are finished. Your creation appears in a new window. Right-click the image and choose "Set As Desktop Background" from the pop-up menu. The image appears on your desktop.
