How to Fix Dental Crowns
If you have dental crowns on any of your teeth, you may find yourself in a sticky situation at some point and have to fix a crown that has fallen out, without the assistance of a dentist. If your crown falls out and you don't have a way of getting to the dentist, you can use this temporary solution to keep your crown in place until you can seek proper attention.
Instructions

1
Use tweezers to gently scrape out any remaining cement that may be in the crown.
-
2
Plug up your sink drain so you don't accidentally lose your crown. Rinse the crown throughly using a toothbrush to remove any remaining debris.
-
-
3
Rinse your mouth out, and make sure there are no food particles stuck to the tooth.
-
4
Spread a layer of petroleum jelly inside the crown and press the crown firmly against the tooth to create a temporary pressurized seal. Wipe away any extra petroleum jelly.
-
5
Apply a temporary denture adhesive to the crown. Press the crown to the tooth for a slightly longer-term temporary fix.
