      Turn the treadmill off and unplug the power cord before adjusting the Proform treadmill belt. On most Proform models, the belt is adjusted at the rear of the treadmill.

      Use an Allen wrench to adjust a belt that has shifted. For a belt that has shifted to the left, turn the left rear roller adjustment clockwise and the right rear roller adjustment counterclockwise, one-quarter turn. For a belt that has shifted to the right, turn the left rear roller adjustment counterclockwise and right rear roller adjustment clockwise, one-quarter turn. Do not overtighten the belt.

      Plug the treadmill back in. Turn the power on.

      Let the treadmill run for a few minutes.

      Watch the belt to make sure it is centered. Repeat the steps as necessary to adjust the belt until it is centered properly on the treadmill.
