How to View DBX Files
DBX files are native to Microsoft Outlook Express. They are generally used to store email messages. Outlook Express is not the only program capable of opening and viewing DBX files. OE-Mail Recovery is a recovery program for Outlook Express. It can be used to view DBX files and fix corrupted DBX files. All file changes made by OE-Mail Recovery can be read by Outlook Express.

Download and start OE-Mail Recovery (see References).

Click the "File" button. Select "Open." OE-Mail Recovery will automatically search your computer for DBX files and display them at the bottom of the program.

Right click the DBX file you want to view. Click "View." The file will open inside of OE-Mail Recovery, not Outlook Express.
