How to Use Msm to Treat Cataracts

A cataract refers to a vision problem characterized by cloudiness in the lens of the eye which does not allow the full passage of light to the retina. As a result, the retina is not able to send nerve signals to the brain about what the eye is looking at, thereby leading to a loss of vision. Although surgery is the most common form of treatment for cataracts, the use of MSM, otherwise known as organic sulphur, can also be used to treat cataracts.

Instructions

  1. MSM Treatment

    • 1

Buy the MSM and a bottle of saline solution to make the MSM eye drop cure. It is important to purchase pure MSM, Methonyl Sulphur Methane, in its powder form that does not contain any additives in order for this treatment to have the greatest effectiveness. MSM can be found in many local drug stores or online.

    • 2

Prepare the eye drop solution. Mix the MSM into the saline solution so that it ends up being a 15% MSM solution. An easy way to measure this is by adding one teaspoon of MSM with one ounce of the saline solution.

    • 3

Fill the eye dropper with the MSM solution and apply two drops into each affected eye. Note that the drops may initially sting the eyes, but the pain should be mild and subside quickly.

    • 4

Continue applying the drops 1-2 times daily until you begin to notice improvement in your vision. The MSM should work to reverse cataracts by softening the membranes in the eye so that fluid can freely pass through the eye tissues, thereby repairing the damaged eye and allowing you to see clearly again.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always consult with your doctor before trying any alternative medicine. If your cataracts do not improve after trying this form of treatment, discontinue use of the MSM drops and see your doctor to discuss other forms of treatment.
