How To Remove Freezer Paper From An Iron

Creating iron on transfers with freezer paper is an entertaining craft that, if done properly, can make cool T-shirts. When using freezer paper with an iron, it is important to iron with the waxy side down. If you iron on the waxy side of the freezer paper, the paper can stick to the hot iron. If this happens, do not fear, the freezer paper is easy to remove.

Things You'll Need

• Tweezers
• Vinegar
• Water
• Squirt bottle
• Hard-bristle toothbrush

Instructions

1. Grab the freezer paper with your tweezers and pull it away from your iron. Do this while the iron is still hot. Be careful not to burn yourself.

2. Allow your iron to cool once you have removed as much of the freezer paper as you can.

3. Mix one part vinegar to one part water into a squirt bottle. Swirl to mix.

4. Spray the iron with the vinegar mixture. Saturate well.

5. Scrub the iron with a hard-bristle toothbrush. Continue to scrub until all of the freezer paper is removed.
