Instructions

    • 1

Cut off the sides of the baking pan so you are left with a flat sheet of aluminum.

    • 2

Measure a 1-inch wide strip, or make strips out of the entire pan for multiple cookie cutters, and draw lines with a marker so you'll know where to cut.

    • 3

Cut each strip along the measured lines with strong scissors. Sometimes an old pair of scissors can be too dull to cut through the aluminum, so make sure the blades are sharp or that you are using heavy duty scissors.

    • 4

Bend the strip to your desired shape. If you need to mold it to a specific shape, try printing out a picture or wrapping it around an object of the same shape to help guide you to bend the aluminum the right way.

    • 5

Close the shape and secure the ends together by overlapping them and stapling it three times. Use one staple on each end and one in the middle.

Tips & Warnings

  • The aluminum can be sharp, be careful of the edges and be sure to supervise your children when doing this project.
