Cooking on a gas grill is both convenient and easy. You don't have the hassle of charcoal and lighter fluid, or the challenge of getting the coals hot. With a gas grill, you just turn on the fuel, strike a match and light the grill's igniter. The only problem you may have is seasoning the porcelain-covered grates after you have cleaned your gas grill. A can of nonstick vegetable spray is all that is needed.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paper towels
  • Nonstick vegetable spray
  1. Step 1

Open the lid on your gas grill.

  2. Step 2

Wipe your gas grill's porcelain-covered grates with a clean paper towel to remove any dust and cleaner residue.

  3. Step 3

Spray the porcelain-covered grates liberally with a can of nonstick vegetable spray.

  4. Step 4

Let the vegetable spray stay on the porcelain-covered grates until the next time you use the grill.

  5. Step 5

Preheat the gas grill before you are ready to cook so the vegetable spray will burn into the porcelain-covered grates.
