Things You'll Need:
- 2x12 board
- 2 stiff bristle brushwa ( 5x10 inches)
- 6 wood screws (3 inches long)
- Screwdriver
- Drill with bit
- Pencil
-
Step 1
Place one of the stiff-bristle brushes on one end of the 2x12 board. Center the brush on the board, leaving about 1 inch of space from the end of the board.
-
Step 2
Holding the brush in place, turn the board over and mark three points roughly along the center line of the brush on the opposite side from the brush itself.
-
Step 3
Use the drill to make three holes through the 2x12 board which will serve as pilot holes for the wood screws. Make sure the holes are smaller in diameter than the screws themselves.
-
Step 4
Use a screwdriver to insert a wood screw into each pilot hole and into the back of the brush. This will secure the brush in place to the board. Tighten thoroughly, but do not over tighten.
-
Step 5
Repeat the process for the second brush so that it is located next to the first mounted brush. This will help to increase the brush surface of the scraper.
