How to Caulk Sinks
One of the most common causes of water leaks is damaged caulk. High moisture areas, such as kitchen and bathroom sinks, can cause mold and mildew to grow on caulk. Over time caulk can dry out and crack, leaving your sink vulnerable to water leaks. Whether you are replacing existing caulk or installing a new sink, applying caulk around your sink is necessary to provide a waterproof barrier. Several types of caulks are manufactured. Kitchen and bath caulk is specifically designed to stand up to mold and mildew. Does this Spark an idea?
