Step 1
Work on your balance and flexibility. The Ninja Warrior competitors that consistently finish more of the course are former gymnasts, trampoline champions and athletes from other acrobatic sports. Surfers, free-runners and martial artists also have the balance and flexibility necessary to complete many of the obstacles.
-
Step 2
Work on your strength. Upper body strength is especially important on the Ninja Warrior course. Some of the obstacles rely on balance and upper body strength alone, and those obstacles are what eliminate many competitors.
-
Step 3
Develop great stamina. It’s not enough to be strong, flexible or well-balanced if you can’t perform quickly and consistently throughout the stages of the course. Fatigue plays a big part after Stage 2.
-
Step 4
Attend a G4 casting call. G4 puts out a casting call for Americans interested in competing in Japan on the Ninja Warrior television show. Since Americans have been auditioning for the show, G4 has sent two competitors per round to Japan for the Ninja Warrior television show.
