Instructions

    • 1

Allow the oranges to reach room temperature.

    • 2

Place an orange on a kitchen counter or table and roll it, using your hand while applying slight pressure. This will soften the fibers inside and prepare the orange for juicing.

    • 3

Place the orange on a cutting board and slice it in half, using a suitable knife. Remove any visible seeds from both halves.

    • 4

Place the hand juicer over a suitable container, with the domed side of the juicer facing up. Choose a container that fits the hand juicer to avoid a possible mess.

    • 5

Hold the juicer and container with one hand and place the cut end of one of the orange halves over the domed potion of the juicer.

    • 6

Rotate the orange back and forth while applying a fair amount of pressure to extract the juice. Squeeze the sides of the orange while rotating.

    • 7

Repeat the juice extraction process for the remaining orange half.

    • 8

Roll, cut and juice more oranges as necessary. Mix the pulp from the top side of the hand juicer in with the juice, if desired.

    • 9

Throw away the spent orange halves when finished.
