Step 1
First, work out an exercise routine. This can as easy as walking around the block if you want to. The important thing is you stick to it and increase the distance you walk each week.
For example, you walk around the block twice, 2 times a week, You should increase to three times around the next week. -
Step 2
Eat right. Fruits and vegetables are great choices. If you are just wanting to lose weight, a diet high in carbohydrates is suffecient. If you want to build muscle, add some protein into your diet. Just don't forget to burn the carbohydrates, or they turn into fat.

Step 3
This is the most important step. Many people skip meals to lose weight. This is NOT the case. Eating every meal makes your metabolism go faster, thus shedding unwanted fat. You must also eat all your meals at the same time everyday.
