This is the age-old question that men and women alike ask. How can we slow the aging process and age gracefully? Below are some simple steps you can take to age more gracefully.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

This is one of the common rules of skin care and the most important. Avoid direct sunlight and always wear sunscreen when you can't. It's good to be in the habit of wearing sunscreen even if you do not expect to be in the sun all day. Then unexpected rays of the sun won't do damage when you least expect them too.

  2. Step 2

Quit smoking. Smoking not only is hazardous to your overall health, but it makes your skin dull over time as well as making your teeth yellowed or brown. It makes you look older than you are and leads to premature aging.

  3. Step 3

Avoid drinking alcohol in excess. While it is true that a glass of wine or a beer will not hurt your health, drinking in excess will wreak havoc on your system and lead to premature aging.

  4. Step 4

The next step is to always exfoliate you skin and use a moisturizer that suits your skin type. Being in the habit of washing, exfoliating and moisturizing will go a long way to giving your skin a natural, healthy glow.

  5. Step 5

Keep in mind that exercise, even just a couple of hours a week, will keep your body healthy and your skin will naturally look better when your body is in the best possible health.

Tips & Warnings
  • Exercise your face and neck as well to minimize wrinkles. Exercise tightens the skin naturally and can give you tighter, younger looking skin on the face and neck.
