How to Make a Tonsillitis Gargle Treatment

This gentle gargle treatment helps to treat tonsillitis and help relieve the discomfort caused by tonsillitis. I suggest using this gargle treatment twice per day during tonsillitis.

  • 1 Cup of Water
  • 1 Teaspoon of Sage
  • 1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon of Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon of Honey
  • 1 Drop of Geranium Oil
  • 1 Drop of Ginger Oil
  • 1 Drop of Lemon Oil
  • 1 Drop of Oregano Oil

Instructions

      Bring the water to a light boil, then pour directly over the dried sage in a small mixing bowl. Allow the mixture to steep until it reaches room temperature, then strain the liquid into a seperate mixing bowl.

      Pour in the apple cider vinegar and fresh lemon juice, then whisk the mixture gently. Continue to whisk the mixture gently, while slowly drizzling in the honey. Then add in the geranium oil, ginger oil, lemon oil and oregano oil.

      Once the mixture is all thoroughly combined, pour the mixture into a glass jar with a lid.

      To use, pour about 3 tablespoons of the mixture into the mouth and gargle gently. Use the mixture 2-3 times per day, or as needed. Always make sure to gently shake the mixture before use to help the ingredients to combine properly before using.
