Microsoft Works has many different templates in which you can do a lot of different things. You can even plan a party, whether it is a birthday party, christmas party, party at work, a wedding, New Year's Eve party or other party events. Microsoft Works can direct you to be organized.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Click and open up the Microsoft Works Task Launcher. You can do this by clicking on the start button or logo on the left of your screen. Go to Programs and scroll down to Microsoft works, look for Microsoft Works Task Launcher.

  2. Step 2

When you open up Microsoft Works Task Launcher, go to the top of the page, click on templates. On the left of the screen, click on 'Events and Planning.' You will see many different templates for different things. Go to the one that says 'Plan a Party.'

  3. Step 3

You will see list of important things to plan your party such as create guest list, list food and drink needed, track party budget, track party preparations and find directions. To create your guest list, click on it and then to the right of page, click on 'New document from template'. You can follow the same instructions for food and drink, party budget and party preparations.

  4. Step 4

The 'Create your guest list' template will come up. It will say Wedding Guest List, but you can use your mouse and make changes for the type of party you will be having, if it is a christmas party, office party, new year's eve party, anniversary party or birthday party. You can also make changes to the Words highlighted in yellow, that is appropriate for the type of party you will be holding.

  5. Step 5

When you are finished create your guest list, save your file, by going to file at the top left of the page and save as. You can now close this file. Then go back to the template that says 'list food and drink needed.' And to the right of the page click on 'New Document from template'. Make whatever necessary changes by using your mouse, to delete and replace anything. Follow this instruction for track party budget and track party preparation.
