Veteran's Day is a special day, set aside as a nation to remember our veterans who have bravely fought to keep America safe.
If you are not familiar with the military events that have happened in the past 100 years make sure to read up on history. Go to your local library, video store or HULU.com and watch some war movies.

Our Vets ARE like celebrities and here are some great ways to treat your favorite Veteran like the Celebrity they are:

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    1) DINNER OUT: Take them to a good old fashioned steakhouse, a favorite diner or restaurant.

  2. Step 2

    2) LIMO RIDE: Rent a Limo for the dinner out, and invite one of your veteran's best buddies. If they object to the extra money spent then clean out the car and dress up in tuxedo and act as limo driver.

  3. Step 3

3)PICTURES: Have 3 or 4 friends act as paparazzi and show up for the arrival of the Veteran Celebrity, taking pictures with their digital camera.

  4. Step 4

    4) PUBLICITY: Send a thank you to your Veteran through the newspaper Classified Ads. Place an ad on Craigslist or Kijiji with pictures. Call in talk radio show and do a quick thank you to your favorite VET (record the call).

  5. Step 5

    5) TIME: Spend more time with your favorite Veteran during the year. Don't wait for Veteran's Day to prompt you to remember what a star they are

  6. Step 6

Thank you - all who have served this country to protect our freedom and rights.

Tips & Warnings
  • A SPECIAL THANKS to the following Veterans: Bob Walker, Kingsley Hanger, Marvin Voss, Aaron Aharonian, Joreen Aharonian, Lee Hansel, Charles, Jim Flick, and Art Alvarez.
