You're at work with a headache. Your boss is working your last nerve and you cannot concentrate on the pile of work on your desk. There are ways to cure a headache when you're at work. Here's how to do it:

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Inform your immediate supervisor that you have a headache.

  2. Step 2

Ask a co-worker to cover your desk, including your telephone, while you take a short break.

  3. Step 3

Walk into the employee break room and sit down in the most comfortable chair.

  4. Step 4

Relax your mind in order to allow the pain from the headache to stop.

  5. Step 5

Take off your shoes and relax your body, mind and soul.

  6. Step 6

Stand up and walk around the room in order to determine the severity of the headache.

  7. Step 7

Grab a paper towel and run some warm water on it.

  8. Step 8

Place the warm paper towel on your forehead and sit down again.

  9. Step 9

Breathe easy and think about cool waterfalls.

  10. Step 10

Eliminate headaches with a short break and then return to work.

  11. Step 11

    These steps work for me.

on 11/17/2009 Why state the obvious about getting someone to cover for you? Have you ever had a migraine? Walking around a room and thinking of happy thoughts does not work! This is not a tension headache! It's a cardiovascular event. Do not write about things of which you obviously know nothing. This is not your area of knowledge obviously and you do a disservice to people.
