How to Do the Music Symbol on MySpace

Make sure the Number Lock key is turned on. Hold down the Alt key. Then, on your keypad (not the numbers at the top of the keyboard), press 13 for the ♪ symbol, and 14 for the ♫ symbol.

Another option is to go to Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then Character Map. From there you can find the symbol and copy and paste it.

Log in to MySpace. If you want to use music symbols in your display name, go to Profile, Account Settings, and then paste the symbol in your display name.

Open Safari. Click on Edit, then Special Characters.

Type "music" into the search field and click on one of the music symbols under Unicode Name.

Click on the symbol you want, then hit Insert. The symbol will be pasted in any text box you have your cursor in.

Mac users: Not all fonts can be recognized by computers, so choose a symbol with a font that is widely used.
