How to Kill Wasps on Grapes
Not only can wasps be lethal to humans, but they also can be lethal to a variety of crops, including grapes. Vineyards around the world are beginning to have problems with wasps. This flying brigade builds nests within grape vines and bores into the grapes themselves. Can you imagine going out to your vineyard, plucking a grape off the vine, and ending up with a swollen tongue in the emergency room? Hear are some tips to rid yourself of this insect. Things You'll Need
- Fipronil pesticide
- Sting-proof suit
- Old honey or jelly jars
- Water
- Nail
- Hammer

Leave some remnants of your honey or jelly at the bottom of its jar. Fill the jar halfway full with water. Shake.

Pierce a hole in the jar's lid with the nail and hammer. Replace the lid on the jar.

Place jars near places you have spotted wasps. The wasps will be attracted by the sweet honey or jelly and fly right in. However, after they have gotten a taste, they won't be able to get back out and will drown.

Put on your sting-proof suit and apply Fipronil pesticide to the wasps' nests at dusk. Both the pesticide and suit can be found at your local farm and fleet store. Applying the pesticide without protective gear will inevitably lead to wasp stings.

Tips & Warnings
If severely allergic to insect stings, do not attempt to interact with the wasps. Hire someone to remove the pests. If allergic and you are stung, call 911 immediately.
