A person who wants to delete individual URLs from the address bar has either entered a faulty address by virtue of a typing error or has something to hide, with the latter being the one that occurs most often. If you want to delete individual URLs, you can easily do it in Internet Explorer 8 and Mozilla Firefox. In the previous versions of Internet Explorer, you can do it, but you'll have to edit the Registry. People who use Safari are out of luck, because that browser isn't yet capable of this action.
