How to Use an Intex Pool Vacuum

Keeping your Intex swimming pool water clean and safe requires regular care and maintenance. It is important to check the chemical levels regularly to ensure they are balanced. This will keep bacteria and algae from building up in the water. Skimming the surface of the pool will remove floating dirt and debris and keep it from settling to the bottom of the pool. If the pool bottom becomes too dirty, it will require the use of an Intex vacuum. The vacuuming process is not difficult, however it does require a bit of patience and slow steady movements. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the female end of telescoping vacuuming pole onto the handle shaft of the vacuum head. There are two pins on either side of the shaft that will insert into the two holes on the telescoping pole.

    • 2

Attach a garden hose to the threaded female opening on the Intex vacuum head.

    • 3

Connect the other end of the garden hose to a water spigot.

    • 4

Tie the Intex debris collection bag onto the remaining hole on the vacuum head.

    • 5

Place the vacuum head into the pool water and turn on the water from the water spigot.

    • 6

Move the vacuum slowly across the bottom of the pool until you have removed all the dirt and debris. The slower the vacuum is moved, the less dirt will be stirred up from the bottom of the pool.

    • 7

Remove the vacuum head from the pool and untie the debris collection bag.

    • 8

Rinse the debris collection bag with water so it is completely clear of dirt.

    • 9

Turn on the pool filter for at least five hours to remove any dirt that may have been stirred up during the vacuuming process.
