-
Step 1
Put on a set of plastic gloves before working with the moth balls. You might also want to wear a mask so that you are not breathing the fumes from the moth balls.
-
Step 2
Set your moth balls around the perimeter of your garden. You can place one moth ball every two to three inches. This will protect your garden from deer, snakes and other predators.
-
Step 3
Place several moth balls every few inches among the soil in your garden. This will keep unwanted insects and bugs from devouring your plants.
-
Step 4
Open a pair of pantyhose, and drop five moth balls in each leg. Hang the pair of pantyhose from tree limbs near your garden. This is also a great way to keep unwanted pests away from your garden.
