Over time the creases will eventually drop from the curtain due to gravity and the steam and water from the shower, but if you can't wait for natural progression, you can make a shower curtain softer using a combination of methods. Instructions

      Hang the shower curtain, and turn on the shower with warm water.

      Direct the spray of the showerhead onto the curtain and allow it to run for five minutes. The warm water and steam from the shower will loosen the creases and soften the curtain. Over time the creases will disappear completely.

      Immerse the shower curtain completely in warm water if showering the curtain did not yield a good enough result. Allow the curtain to soak for 15 minutes, remove it from the water and hang it to dry.

      Blow dry any remaining creases from the shower curtain. Do not press the blow dryer directly against the shower curtain.
