  • Garden gloves
  • Knee pads or foam kneeling knee pad
  • Small garden shovel
  • Trash bag or can
  • Bottle of weed killer

      Put on a pair of garden gloves and some knee pads or use a foam kneeling knee pad to protect your hands and knees.

      Dig a circle about 4 inches deep and 1 inch wide around the sprinkler head with a small garden shovel.
