An eggcrate foam mattress topper is a simple way to make a hard or lumpy mattress more comfortable and supportive. The top of the eggcrate foam mattress topper resembles an egg carton with a bumpy surface designed to improve back support, air circulation and shock resistance while reducing bed sores (for bedridden people). You can use an eggcrate foam mattress topper on any mattress, including feather, latex, air, water and inner spring mattresses. You cannot use it on a memory foam mattress.
