The Chi is a popular flat iron that is used to straighten hair. It comes in different sizes to complement different hair styles, thicknesses and lengths. A small 1-inch Chi is perfect for short, thin hairstyles, while a larger 2-inch model is ideal for long thick hair. Learning how to use the Chi is fairly easy.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Chi
  • Electrical outlet
  1. Step 1

Plug the Chi into the wall to allow it to heat up. The Chi will get very hot, make sure it is not sitting next to anything that might melt or catch fire.

  2. Step 2

Grasp your hair between the two sides of the Chi and slowly stroke your hair downward, essentially ironing your hair between the two warm metal pieces. Be careful not to move too slowly, or your hair will burn.

  3. Step 3

Repeat the process for the remainder of your hair.

  4. Step 4

Spray your hair with hairspray to keep the look longer.
