1
Avoid irritating your skin by using lukewarm water and a cleanser formulated for sensitive skin when cleansing it. Do not use any soaps with fragrance. Lather the cleanser with your fingertips rather than a wash cloth and rinse with lukewarm water. Pat the skin gently with an absorbent cotton towel and allow it to dry thoroughly before applying anything else.

2
Apply any topical medication that has been prescribed and allow it to dry for 10 minutes before applying any sunscreen or covering makeup.

3
Apply a green concealer stick that is formulated to cover and neutralize rosacea on the most affected areas. The green base color conceals the redness.
-
4
Apply a mineral concealer formulated to provide sun protection and hide blemishes. A mineral-based concealer that does not contain alcohol, fragrance, oils or acids but does have zinc oxide for sun protection works best for full face coverage.
-
5
Apply a foundation that helps to repair and protect your skin. A treatment foundation that is a perfect match to your skin tone will cover the redness and treat the dryness that is often found in rosacea patients.
