BIN files are another type of image file that is very similar to MDF files. The process to convert an MDF file to a BIN file is quick and easy.

1. Make a copy of your MDF file before beginning the conversion process. It is always a good idea to back up your files before making any changes.

2. Select the MDF file you want to convert and right-click it to bring up the menu.

3. Select "Rename" from the menu.

4. Enter the title you wish your BIN file to have and, instead of ending the file with ".MDF", end the filename with ".BIN". This will automatically change the file association for your file.
