Instructions

    • 1

Pick fresh corn from the stock, peel off the husk and as much of the corn silk as possible.

    • 2

Boil a pot of water and preheat the oven to 150 degrees. Submerge each ear of corn in the boiling water for approximately four minutes. Remove the corn and immediately place it in a bowl of ice water for another four minutes.

    • 3

Place the ears of corn on a baking sheet and spread them about an inch apart, so that they have enough room for the air to circulate around them. Set the corn in the oven and let sit for around eight hours, checking and turning them every two hours.

    • 4

Remove the corn from the oven and let air dry for two to three days. Remove the dried seeds from the cob by pushing and rolling them with your thumbs. Store the seeds in airtight containers until the next year when you are ready to plant.
