Your easy Nachos meal begins by browning ground beef in a medium size skillet. I suggest 1 pound will adequately serve 4 to 6 people. Drain excess fat if any. Set this aside on your stove top when it is fully cooked.

  2. Step 2

Grate 1 cup of medium or sharp cheddar cheese. You can use a grater and put onto a plate for use later. You can estimate the amount or measure it. Set this aside on your kitchen counter top.

  3. Step 3

Select 10 or 12 ounce jar of salsa. If you prefer mild, hot or medium, use any or a combination of a couple. The flavors will be great in your finished meal. You only want to use 10 or 12 ounces for your Nachos, so they are not soupy.

  4. Step 4
Select an oven ready pan to prepare you Nachos.

Use an 8 X 11 oven baking dish for the preparation of your Nachos. Spray a non stick mist on your baking pan.

  5. Step 5

Choose any size and shape tortilla chips. Generously cover oven baking dish with 2 layers of chips on bottom and sides too. Add the cooked beef, salsa and sprinkle with grated cheese.

  6. Step 6

Cover pan with aluminum foil and put in oven to bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted.

Tips & Warnings
  • If there are leftovers, do not store in metal pan, but transfer into a plastic or glass container.
