How To Easily Find Great Deals On eBay

Are you interested in how to save money by getting a good deal on eBay? With the millions of listings to search through, it can be difficult to find the best deal before someone else does. But eBay itself comes to the rescue with a new feature called eBay Deal Finder! Using this feature, here is How To Easily Find Great Deals On eBay.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • eBay
  1. Step 1

    The eBay Deal Finder lets you do a search through 36 different listing categories from Antiques to Video Games for the best deal on what you're looking for.

    You can also set the price range that you are willing to pay. This starts at "Under $25.00 US" and goes all the way up to "No Limit", when money is no object!

    If you use the Deal Finder properly, you can perform a search and find good deals on your item that others may not find before the auction ends.

    All items that the eBay Deal Finder shows in search results will have these characteristics:
    * Zero bids
    * Less than 4 hours left before they end
    * No reserve price
    * Free or fixed rate shipping
    * A total price that includes shipping costs.

    This means that you will find items that are about to end shortly that no one has bid on yet. Keep an eye on these items and you could very likely end up being the successful bidder.

  2. Step 2

    To get started, go to http://dealfinder.ebay.com/.

    There is a direct link to this page in the Resources section below.

  3. Step 3
    Search For The Item You Need
    Search For The Item You Need

    Let's say you are shopping for some Lego Building Block sets for a gift. Type in "Lego" in the search box, change the category to "Toys & Hobbies", and click on "Search".

  4. Step 4

    You will then be shown the search results for all the Lego items on eBay that currently have no bids and are ending in four hours or less!

    There will be a countdown timer below each item showing how much time is left before the auction ends. If some results expire while you are looking at them, you can click on "Refresh Results", and get a whole new page of items.

    If you see an item you're interested in, click on "View", and you'll go directly to that item's listing page. You can then watch it as it's time runs out and place a bid on it at the last minute to get your best price. If the item attracts other bidders before it ends, and you lose the auction, you can always go back to the Deal Finder page and try again!

  5. Step 5

    Using the Deal Finder page is a helpful way to quickly find items you are interested in that you may be able to get a good deal on. Bookmark the page so you will have quick access to it whenever you are shopping for something.

    Ebay has it all, and you might as well get it at a good price!

Tips & Warnings
  • You can select to show 16 or 32 items in the search results.
