How to Make Delicious Corn and Black Bean Salsa

Ever wondered how to make the perfect corn and black bean salsa that nobody can resist? This recipe is delicious, fast easy and everyone will enjoy it. It's great for parties, holidays or just a snack if you don't want to share =)

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 CUP CANNED BLACK BEANS
  • 1 CUP FROZEN CORN KERNALS
  • 1/2 RED PEPPER CHOPPED
  • 1/2 RED ONION CHOPPED
  • 1/2 CUP FINELY DICED RIPE TOMATO
  • 1/4 CUP CHOPPED CILANTRO
  • 4 GREEN ONIONS CHOPPED
  • 2 FRESH JALAPENOS SEEDED AND MINCED
  • 2 CLOVES GARLIC MINCED
  • 2 TBSP LIME JUICE
  • 1 TSP SALT
  • TORTILLA CHIPS
  1. Step 1

    Drain and rinse the black beans in a strainer until the water runs clear.
    Thaw the corn

  2. Step 2

    Chop, mince or dice the vegetables. Use a food processor or chopper to make this easier and faster.

  3. Step 3

    Mix all ingredients in a bowl and stir until well blended.

  4. Step 4

    Let sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes then taste it to see if you need to add more salt, lime juice or garlic. Add more jalapenos if you like it spicier.

  5. Step 5

    Refrigerate for at least an hour so all the flavors blend together to create the perfect salsa.

  6. Step 6

    Serve with chips as a delicious appetizer, or as a garnish with your main dish.

  7. Step 7

    Eat and Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are having a larger get together, double up on the ingredients.
  • Serve with tostitos scoops..it's easier to eat that way.
  • WARNING...DO NOT TOUCH YOUR EYES WHEN CUTTING THE ONION!...OUCH!
  • MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE JALAPENO SEEDS TO AVOID TOO MUCH SPICINESS!
  • BE CAREFUL..IT'S HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!
