Use saltwater to treat canker sore. Mix 1 teaspoon of salt with 1 cup of warm water. Pour the mixture into your mouth and swish the liquid around for 30 seconds. Spit it out and you should experience some canker sore relief. Swishing salt and water in your mouth will help clean your canker sore. You can also mix banking soda with small drops of water for the same effect. Just cover the canker sore with the think paste.

Treat canker sore and reduce bacteria in your mouth by mixing hydrogen peroxide with water. Drench a cotton swab in the mixture and dab the solution on your canker sores. Make sure you don't swallow the mixture! After ward, Swish water around your mouth a few times and spit it out to get rid of any leftover hydrogen peroxide.

If your canker sore has developed into an infection, you may have to treat canker sore with oral medication. See your doctor and you may be prescribed Tetracycline suspension, which works pretty well. You also may have to keep the medicine in your mouth for about 3 minutes before swallowing for it to be effective.
