Focus on using the most intensive moisturizing lip balm that you can find. Avoid ones that focus on color of flavor to really get the job done.

Drink plenty of water through out the day to stay hydrated. The first place that the signs of dehydration show are on the lips. Keep a bottle of water with you at all times and sip on it often to get soft lips.

Avoid lipstick on any everyday basis if you want to prevent dry, chapped lips. Lipstick contains many ingredients that dry out the lips. This is what helps it to stay on your lips. Limit the time and number of days that lipstick is worn to help your lips look their best.
