There is one thing that every great kiss needs and that is soft lips. Soft lips are something that many people only dream about having. With the harsh weather and other irritants, lips seem to take the brunt of what the world throws at us. Dry chapped lips are also a sign the you are too busy to take care of yourself. Whether this is true or not, now is the time to do something about it. Now you can get soft lips with a couple of simple steps a week. It is that easy, really!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Brush your lips lightly with your toothbrush when you are brushing your teeth to gently remover dry skin. Dry chapped lips can creep up on you without warning if you do not take of your lips everyday. Make sure to go gently or you will not get soft lips; you will only irritate yours.

  2. Step 2

Apply a lip balm at night and in the morning to get soft lips. It is important to keep your lips moisturized constantly to prevent them from becoming chapped. Focus on using the most intensive moisturizing lip balm that you can find. Avoid ones that focus on color of flavor to really get the job done.

  3. Step 3

Drink plenty of water through out the day to stay hydrated. The first place that the signs of dehydration show are on the lips. Keep a bottle of water with you at all times and sip on it often to get soft lips.

  4. Step 4

Avoid lipstick on any everyday basis if you want to prevent dry, chapped lips. Lipstick contains many ingredients that dry out the lips. This is what helps it to stay on your lips. Limit the time and number of days that lipstick is worn to help your lips look their best.
