This gentle and natural treatment for boils helps to treat boils and the infection that caused it. It also helps to help further the healing process of boils. Boils are skin infections that occur in a hair follicle and involve the surrounding skin tissue. Boils are often difficult to treat, and there are no magical quick cures which is why it's important to use a gentle treatment that can be used consistently, such as this one.

Instructions

    • 1

Pour the water into a pan, and heat over high heat. Once bubbles begin to form on the bottom of the pan, remove the pan from the heat.

    • 2

Pour the water into a large mixing bowl.

    • 3

Pour in the sea salt and epsom salt, and stir the mixture together gently.

    • 4

Allow the mixture to cool until it's still warm, but not too hot for the skin. I suggest using your pinky to test the water.

    • 5

Add in the lavender oil, tea tree oil and lemon oil. Stir the mixture together gently.

    • 6

Dip a strip of clean flannel (or cotton if you don't have flannel) into the mixture. Wring out any excess liquid, then apply over the boil.

    • 7

Allow the strip to sit over the boil for 5 minutes, then re soak and apply once more. Continue to do this for 30 minutes.

    • 8

Repeat this process 3 times per day, until the boil has healed.
