Things You'll Need:
- Construction paper
- Tissue paper
- Spray glue
- clear acetate
- ribbon
-
Step 1
To make fall leaf ornaments you will need to first start with a sheet of construction paper. Choose a color that you would see in fall leaves like red, yellow, brown or orange. Using your imagination cut out a leaf design.
-
Step 2
Use your leaf to make a pattern on your clear acetate. Cut the clear acetate about a quarter of an inch smaller than the outside of your leaf pattern.
-
Step 3
Next to make your Fall Leaf Ornaments lightly coat the clear acetate with spray adhesive. And randomly attach your squares of tissue paper to the clear acetate. There is no really pattern to stick to here just make sure you completely cover the acetate with tissue squares. You may have to add more spray adhesive to keep the tissue paper in place.
-
Step 4
Once you have the leaf covered in tissue papers you will need to make sure the edges are trimmed so that none of the tissue papers are hanging over the edge of the acetate.
-
Step 5
Now apply glue to the tissue paper covered side of your leaf and glue it in the center of your construction paper leaf.
-
Step 6
Attach a small piece of ribbon to the top of the leaf in a loop for the hanger.
