How to Make a Spiced Mocha Mix for Christmas Gifts

Making special delicious gifts for Christmas is a holiday tradition. Every year, I create some tasty morsel for my clients to enjoy during this festive season. For many years, it has been a box of fudge and bag of this spiced mocha mix, a much-desired holiday beverage. This mocha mix is a quick and easy recipe that delights young and old alike. Keep it on hand for your family to enjoy or make enough to give to friends in a pretty holiday bag. Enjoy!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• ½ cup sugar
• ¼ cup freeze-dried coffee
• ¼ cup cocoa
• 1 teaspoon nutmeg
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon
• Small Holiday drawstring bags for gift giving
• Small Ziploc bags for storing mix.

1. Place all ingredients in a blender.

2. Cover and blend on high speed for 15 seconds. Stir. Cover and blend until completely mixed.

3. Store the mixture in a tightly covered container for storage or in Ziploc bags.

4. Measure out amount for each gift bag. Place a ½ cup of mix into a small Ziploc bag and seal. Place the Ziploc into a holiday drawstring bag. Tie a nicely type instruction sheet to the drawstring with ribbon.

5. Instructions for making a cup of Mocha: For each serving, place 2-3 teaspoons of mix into cup. Fill with boiling water and stir. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon.

6. Wrap with Christmas ribbon and present your gift.
